Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 4, 2026

1. Service Agreement

By booking a service through the Tie-Tuned Hub, you authorize our luthiers to perform the agreed-upon repairs and modifications. Any additional work found necessary during the intake process will be quoted and requires your explicit approval via the Hub or official messaging.

2. Parts & Consumables

Clients are encouraged to provide their preferred brand of strings. If Tie-Tuned provides strings or hardware, these will be billed at the current market rate. Custom parts (pickups, tuners, etc.) must be paid for in full before installation begins.

3. Risk & Latent Defects

Guitars are under extreme tension. Tie-Tuned is not liable for structural failures caused by latent defects (e.g., wood rot, previous poor repairs, or manufacturing flaws) that manifest during standard setup procedures. We will notify you immediately if a structural risk is identified.

4. Abandonment Policy

Instruments left at the Tie-Tuned Hub for more than 60 days after the final "Ready for Pickup" notification, without prior arrangement, are considered abandoned. Tie-Tuned Hub reserves the right to sell or dismantle the instrument to recover unpaid labor and parts costs.

5. Warranty of Workmanship

All setups and fretwork come with a 7-day playability guarantee. If the action or intonation shifts due to our workmanship within this period, we will readjust it at no cost. This does not cover environmental shifts (humidity/temperature) or changes in string gauge by the user.

6. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon pickup. For major restorations (refrets, repaints), a 50% downpayment may be required before work commences.
